2012 CANTY/CANTEY FAMILY REUNION

Hello Canty/Cantey Family Members,

We would like to personally invite you to a joyful, wonderful, and grand event in Detroit, Michigan.

The chosen dates for the upcoming reunion are scheduled for July 5^th – 8^th, 2012. We need your help, support, prayers, and diligent cooperation to make this an excellent event and enable us to springboard into greater efforts for future reunions.

Our Reunion's Mission:

To keep Unity within the family, Celebrate achievements, Maintain Family Closeness, Communicate, Educate and continue to pass on our rich heritage through our children so that they may know their roots and carry on the legacy while encouraging participation at future reunions.

We are hoping that everyone will recognize the importance of family and will do their best to attend this reunion.  We believe that you will be pleasantly surprised at the elegance and relevance of what we are putting together to make this a memorable experience for all who attend.

The planning committee has put together an excellent package at what we believe is a reasonable price. The pricing is based on maximum participation and early registration.  Although we are still in the planning stages we have enclosed registration forms and information to get your started with the registration process.

As we continue our preparations for the family, it would be helpful to know who is attending. Please complete the reunion RSVP information or complete your early registration.

This promises to be a time of remembering – rejoicing – recreating – renewing – and refreshing, but our major purpose is to unite and reunite and to recall the history and traditions of the Canty/Cantey family.

In addition we have blocked rooms at the beautiful Downtown Detroit Courtyard hotel, this hotel is best suited for families with children as it has a pool. Both hotels are fabulous so the choice is yours!

*To ensure a stress-free check-in, we would like to remind you that there will be a $50 deposit required at check-in for each room. This deposit will be redeemable upon check-out if paid in cash. Deposits paid with a debit or credit card may be held by the guest’s bank for approximately 7 to 10 business days.

Parking – we are still negotiating Downtown self-parking, but it will not exceed $10 per day.
